halloween and fun days

 Isaiah is shooting web out of his hands in case you couldn't tell.  ha ha.

 Isaiah has a little bike we keep inside for cold days.  he lets elly ride with him.  it's so cute.

For halloween, Nick went as Clark Kent and i went as Lois Lane.  The kids went as spiderman, and wonderwoman.  we had a a great time at our ward halloween party.

Things we might miss from the summer. 

1. Isaiah will definitely miss the fruit.  Caught him doing this one day.

 

2. My hair.  I chopped 7 inches off.  still pretty dang long though.

  

3. The ugly rocking chair... oh wait. we won't miss that!!!  

We're happy I recovered it and gave it some spunk.

4. And lastly I will miss that my baby isn't a baby anymore.  She turns one is less than a week and has been walking for a couple months now.  It just kinda makes me sad that she's growing up so fast.

Isaiah's Chore Chart

I had this really cute board and I've had it forever but have never used it, Not to its full potential. My friend was making something similar to this the other day and I wasn't able to go the the activity so when i had the time I made my own. Ta da! It's Isaiah's very own chore chart. ha ha.


My niece drew the pics for me and i colored them and put them onto the magnets. I'm so glad to have this. I seriously use it every day with Isaiah. He's great at his chores now. ha ha.

Why oh why have I not shown you the Christmas stockings I made... Because I got distracted and still haven't made them yet. ha ha.

See, I got all busy making these crafts for my family
and then.... I simply had to do this photo shoot. No... i was not the photographer. I was the assistant to the camera woman (Erin Summerill) and the costume designer, and baby provider.
So i've been a little busy but I will now get into the stocking business again and finish those dang things.

Oops I did it again.....

So there's this new thing called sabotaging your husband, and when i heard of it I just thought, "hey why not?"

So my husband was getting ready for an interview and decided he needed to get a haircut so he looked presentable. He does it himself with the hairclippers. After he finished he came and asked me how it looked. I told him it looked bad and I would come and help him fix it. Well..... how was i to know that he had taken the guard off. and there was no longer a size 8 but a size 0 on the clippers. .....My bad.So that's what he gets for being an awesome husband who's done most of the potty training,
and is willing to dress up like this for Halloween,
and make these crafts with me for Halloween.
He laughed about it, but i feel like a big ol craphead. I told him I was just helping him out cuz he hadn't changed his look in ten years.

So tell me... How have you sabotaged your husband lately?

Can you believe how long it's been since i've posted. talk about a bummer. so here's a few thoughts and a few pics.

1. I had a baby! yeah! she's a beautiful baby girl and I just love her.... and so does her brother. He is so happy and proud to be her brother.


2. My brother came home from Iraq! again with the YEAH! it's great to have him home and safe.

3. Since i'm home and kinda stuck here for a bit i've been focusing on some new crafts. and even though it's just a few days past halloween, I'm working on Christmas stockings. ha ha. I'll let you know how they turn out.

My CRAZY yesterday....

The beginning of an entirely new something to blog about.

When i was at the Doctors office yesterday, for something entirely different, I was politely informed that I'm pregnant.

SAY WHAT? Are you kidding me? I told the nurse.


This was entirely unexpected. In case you couldn't tell by my response to the nurse.
I'm ecstatic, and scared, and overjoyed, and everything you could imagine all at once.

My family of 3 is a family of 4

So... wish me luck on my newest and craziest of adventures. Parenthood x2

How low can you go? Well apparently pretty low. I've gone as far as to enter myself to go onto Dr. Oz to find out what's going on with my body. Sad huh? a friend told me they were searching for people with constant fatigue and pain so I said, well... it couldn't hurt to try. This is what i wrote.

"I am a 22 year old wife and mother of 1 but my body treats me like I am a 96 year old bed ridden grandmother. There are days where even walking up the stairs is a challenge, let alone taking care of my 1 year old. I feel so lost in the world with no hope. Even the doctors are stumped on what to do for me. I already suffer from Celiac disease and Osteopenia but this new fatigue and pain have taken over my life. Please help me get it back."

Now that i look back on the moment I feel pretty dumb for even submitting myself. but at the same time, I really hope i get picked. I know i'm the lamest person you all know. That's why I told you guys. Then we can all laugh at my lameness. oh... and here's something else to laugh at.

Today as i called the girls from my activity days group to remind them that we had an activity today I got to one of the final numbers and heard the phone begin to ring. it was one of the primary presidency's daughters that i was trying to reach.

well anywho in the middle of the ringing Isaiah began to choke on his bacon. and i mean choke choke. well.... a swear kinda came out of my mouth and then i hung up the phone to call 911.

and just as i began to dial he got it clear and was just fine. he was fine and i just swore to someone in the primary presidency.

needless to say it has been a very embarrassing day. because i had to call them back again. O_o

my gross story for the month.

So a few days ago my husband decided to bring wienersnitchel home for dinner. we gave our son a corn dog which he ate for awhile and then ditched. where? we have no clue. we've moved the furniture, we've checked the laundry that was sitting next to him. It's gone.


.....

That is until we let the dectective Kari downstairs today. if all of the sudden you see Kari running and stumbling all over herself, she's obviously found something that she' knows you're gonna take away. But YEAH!!! we finnaly found the missing food that had been haunting us for days. still don't know where she found it though. Isaiah and Kari must've worked some kinda deal out. "I'll give you food, and you let me pull on your ears without biting me. deal?"

Why i Never post.... A memoir by Emily Hammerstad.

1. I feel cruddy, oh so cruddy, i feel cruddy and ruddy and gay. Well not really. I don't feel gay. but i do feel cruddy.

2. The Doctors would rather go on cruises then call me back to let me know that my results were NOT normal. They would rather just leave me hanging then to tell me that I have a problem that should be taken care of. So i am left confined to my bedroom most of the time. Unless i can find the energy to move to the couch.

3. The magic of being a parent has finally whiped me out. I'm this close to giving up. and why? you might ask. because my son looks like I beat him for a living. He has road rash all over his face not to mention the other scars and bruises from being a boy.

4. I had a yard sale. It consumed any shred of life I had left in me. But GREAT news. I found my quilt that had been missing for months. i think it's been gone since February and we just found it.

5. And lastly, on the list of things that have consumed my life lately. I accidentally overdosed on pain killers. I sound like a real addict. but I'm not and that's why the overdose. I only take half a dose as it makes me so sick and so when i cut my pill in half i wasn't aware that half a pill in this particular prescription was actually a full dose of what i was used to. AHHHHHH!!!!!! Let me tell you. DO NOT EVER DO THIS! I was in the worst condition ever. I wish i wasn't in pain so I didn't need the dang pills in the first place. Needless to say. i am avoiding drugs at this point. I'm going to live with the pain. It's a much safer outcome.

And that's it. I'm finally coming clean about my health issues and saying, "Yes, I am sick. sorry i never call you back. Sorry i never answer to begin with. Sorry that i've been out of all of your life's and you've had no idea why I have just avoided you. Well, I'm not avoiding you, but I'm sorry if you ever thought i was."

Having a bad day? how bought a bad week? could it possibly feel like a lifetime since the last time things were okay?...... Well, no worries because i hear ya. I'm been struggling with a lot lately and my sweet oh so wonderful hubby came home two days ago with the best "pick me up" EVER!


May i present THESE!!!!!
I call them my "make everything feel all better" shoes. He said, and i quote,"I know you're really overwhelmed and scared right now and I just wanted you to at least feel like you're pretty, cuz you are."

So if you're having a bad day, go... buy yourself something that makes you feel all better and remember, vanity is only 1 of our many great qualities!

Seriously though, the shoes make me feel better when I see them or wear them. I wonder if they're magically enhanced with something. Just something to think about.

What have i been up to lately? TONS!!!!! This is my house.



and this is my house after the copious amounts of work i have done on it.

1. New paint, obviously
2. New trim
3. I fixed the pole and repainted it too.
4. I took out that stupid bush and made a new garden area
5. Got new light fixtures
6. and lastly new house numbers.


It was a ton of work and thus, i have been a blogger lacking in blogs.

While Nick's Family came to visit we went for a visit to the DINO museum.

It was a lot of fun.

Some of the dino's weren't too happy we were there.

But Nick told them what was up.

And apparently became a dino in the process
